Introduction

Valheim Viki (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use the App, including information processed by our advertising provider, Google AdMob.

Information We Collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not directly collect, store, or sell personal information that identifies you by name.

However, because the App shows advertising, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) and its partners may automatically collect certain information from your device, such as:

• Advertising identifiers (e.g. Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA);
• Device information (device model, operating system, language, network/carrier);
• IP address and approximate (non-precise) location derived from it;
• Ad interaction data (ads shown, taps, and similar usage data).

This data is used to display ads and, where you consent, to display personalized ads.

Advertising

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. AdMob and its advertising partners may use the information above to serve and measure ads. Depending on your choices and region, ads may be personalized (based on your data) or non-personalized (based only on general context and not on your profile).

The App is rated PEGI 3 and is intended to be suitable for all ages. We configure AdMob to request only family-friendly ad content (rated for general audiences). However, the specific ads are selected and delivered by Google AdMob and its partners, not by us. We do not choose, create, or control the individual ads shown, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. If you believe an inappropriate ad was shown, please report it to us so we can pass it on to Google.

Consent for Personalized Ads (EEA, UK & Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App uses a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) integrated with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) to ask for your consent before serving personalized ads.

When you first open the App (and again if required), you can choose whether to allow personalized ads. If you do not consent, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.

Because the App is suitable for all ages, ads served to children are always non-personalized and the App is treated as directed to a mixed audience under Google's policies. No advertising profile is built for child users.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from within the App, through the privacy/consent option in the App's settings.

The advertising features rely on third-party services. The relevant providers and their policies are:

These third parties handle the data they collect according to their own privacy policies, and we do not control how they process it.

Game Content

Aside from advertising, the App fetches public, non-personal game information from our backend servers and displays it in the App. This game content does not include personal information about you.

Your Choices

• You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings (Android: “Ads”; iOS: “Tracking” / “Apple Advertising”).
• On iOS, you can deny App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission to limit tracking.
• In the EEA/UK/Switzerland, you can change your ad-consent choices at any time using the consent option in the App.

Children’s Privacy

The App is rated PEGI 3 and may be used by people of all ages, including children. We do not collect personal information from children, and we never serve personalized or interest-based advertising to children — only non-personalized, family-friendly ads are shown. AdMob is configured to request ad content suitable for general audiences (G-rated). The individual ads are served by Google AdMob, not by us. Parents and guardians should still supervise children's use of the App.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected with a new “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
